Lisa Marie Bengtsson is an artist and designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her practice moves between spatial design, installation, objects and participatory processes, with a particular interest in how spaces and materials can open up different ways of moving, using and experiencing a place.

She has a background in Product and Furniture Design from Kingston University in London and holds an MFA in Child Culture Design from HDK Valand in Gothenburg. Her long experience of working with children has had a strong influence on how she thinks about bodies, materials, use and participation.

Over the past decade, Lisa has developed projects for museums, libraries, cultural centres, schools, parks and festivals. Her work ranges from spatial installations and interactive environments to objects, workshops and public projects.

Her work has been presented in Sweden and internationally, including at the Barbican Centre in London, Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, Camden Art Centre, Hong Kong Design Week and Gothenburg Film Festival.
