Lisa Marie Bengtsson is an artist and designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

For more than ten years, she has run her own studio, developing spatial projects, installations and objects for museums, libraries, cultural organisations and public spaces in Sweden and internationally.

Much of her work has been developed for and with children, through projects involving play and participation. This has given her a long experience of working with children’s own ways of exploring, using and changing spaces and objects.

Lisa studied Product and Furniture Design at Kingston University in London and holds an MFA in Child Culture Design from HDK Valand in Gothenburg.

Her work moves between art and design and can develop from an early sketch or material study to models, prototypes, objects, spatial layouts and final production. She works both independently and in collaboration with artists, designers and organisations.
